A Very Hungarian Christmas!
5th December 2014
We were treated to a very special presentation by pupils from Farne Primary School all about Christmas in Hungary. The pupils all attend a school club learning Hungarian with their teacher. They told the pupils how Mikulaus - the Hungarian equivalent of Saint Nicholas - traditionally visits the home of Hungarian children on the eve of Saint Nicholas Feast Day on December 6th.
As well as an excellent Prezi presentation - the pupils from Farne shared with us some of the words they have been learning and sang a beauitful Christmas song in Hungarian. Knop Law pupils were VERY impressed and would all like to say a big Christmas thank you to Farne Primary School and their Hungarian school club. Merry Christmas!
