To celebrate the positivity, creativity and hard work of our wonderful pupils, parents and carers we celebrated a No Screen Day on Friday, February 12th. It all started with the uplifting story of Felix: After the Rain...

We asked our pupils to think about the message of hope and positivity in this story - introduced by Head Teacher Ms. Simpson and read by our class teachers. We gave them some ideas and suggestions for activities that they could enjoy on No Screen Day:

Our Assistant Head Teacher, Mrs. Robertson wrote a lovely poem to send our pupils off into half-term full of positivity and hope:

Our amazing pupils working in school made lovely cards for their classmates working at home and on No Screen Day joined our teachers and staff walking and delivering cards and sweets - socially-distanced! We had some lovely messages on Twitter from our very surprised pupils, parents and carers:

To celebrate Valentine's Day and to spread some love and joy, our pupils in school also made some lovely messages in a heart. We tied them to the outer fence of school for pupils and our school community to see on their walks. Our pupils at home also made messages which they stuck to their home windows and doors. A lot of love and positivity shared!
